As the IS Intern, I had the opportunity to work with all of the different departments here at Tyndale. I spent a lot of time setting up computers and troubleshooting lots of different problems. I can tell that everyone really cares about me and everyone else, even those that are not in my department. I have had people go out of their way to find what I was interested in and connect with me about it. Additionally, the internship coordinators have done a great job fostering a friendly environment among the interns, and I have become very good friends with all of them. — Joey

Walking into the office this summer, I had very little experience in composition. However, my team fostered an environment where I could learn and explore my interests. My favorite part of this internship was collaborating with the other interns on projects. It was amazing to see the growth of our cohort and to exchange our new skills and experiences. During my summer internship with Tyndale, I worked within the Product Management department to manage short term projects as they progressed through production, navigated communication with the Typesetting, Design, Editorial, Purchasing, and Acquisitions teams, monitored schedules to meet print deadlines, and ensured product quality throughout the process.
