Tyndale offers comprehensive benefits for our employees. The topics below provide a summary of eligible benefits, additional details are provided during the application process.

Holidays
New employees are eligible for the ten paid holidays that Tyndale House observes: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Benefit Time
Tyndale House offers a benefit time package that includes Paid Time Off (PTO) and Sick time for regular full-time employees. Paid time off is accrued based on the number of hours worked. Tyndale also provides paid family medical leave for eligible employees.
Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
Health Insurance through Tyndale House is available to all full-time, regular employees who have completed 30 days of employment. Tyndale’s health plan includes coverage for medical, dental, vision, and prescription plan. The health plan uses a PPO network as well as out-of-network providers to cover health care needs.
401(k) Profit Sharing Plan/Retirement
Tyndale House offers a 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan which enables employees to save for retirement through company contributions as well as through employee payroll contributions. Employees may choose to invest in funds offered by American Funds. Employees are eligible for this benefit after meeting plan eligibility and completing six months of employment.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Tyndale House offers an FSA Plan, which allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for health expenses or dependent care expenses.
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
After completing 90 days of employment, regular, full-time employees are eligible for short- and long-term disability at no additional cost to the employee. These programs are designed to provide salary continuance for employees who are absent due to an extended sickness or injury.
Life Insurance
Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance are provided, at no additional cost to the employee, to all full-time employees.
Adoption Benefit
Employees who are enrolled in Tyndale’s Health Plan for at least nine months, have completed one year of service, and work at least 30 hours per week will be eligible to apply for the adoption benefit. Tyndale will reimburse employees up to $5,000 for costs associated with an adoption.
Free and Discounted Books
Each employee receives one free copy of select new books published by Tyndale and can purchase additional copies of existing titles at a discount for personal use.
