Verse of the Day
Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:30-31

What is Lent?

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and goes for 40 days (not counting Sundays), ending on Good Friday. So what happens during this time? Some believers give up chocolate, coffee, social media, or other things for the season. Others opt to add a spiritual discipline, such as meditating on Scripture or praying more often. Ultimately, Lent provides space to focus on God through prayer, penitence (confessing our sins), and better prioritizing our lives as we look forward to celebrating Easter.

Let these resources invite you to consider how our Lord is leading you to draw closer to him this Lent.
